Splitgate 2 - Bypass (Exploration)

//I got to do a bit of bluesky exploration on Bypass while the environment team was working on Ozone. Some things were already stood up by the LDs, but there was still room to figure out the theming and the overall look.

//I had pitched the idea of having graffiti in this map, as we had our character concept artists recently design a graffiti artist character. There had also been discussions of this map showing how the people that are part of the Aeros faction like to live a thrilling and fast lifestyle. These were the prompts that I worked off of, but eventually things would shift and change here and there.

Early shot to showcase an early version of the gondola/transportation tower. The boomerang-shaped structure was meant to be a giant trail that you can traverse. I had a bit of fun with large-scale decals and trying out a different time of day, of course!

A bit further along from the previous image. I really wanted to add more trees to reflect this being a large park and a transportation hub.

I didn't really get to finish this one, as I had to move onto other tasks.

The starting point/"BEFORE" for a bluesky piece (LD blockout with some art from Joao Fernandes applied to buildings as graffiti)

The "AFTER". I eventually moved on to work on other aspects of the map.
