Splitgate 2 (Announcement Trailer)

I joined 1047 Games to help with one of the biggest challenges facing the art department, which was to help modularly breakdown and design environment pieces for one of the more complicated factions (due to the design language and bespoke nature of it at the time).

During my time with 1047 Games, I focused on the development of two maps of the same faction. One of the maps was featured heavily in the cinematic trailer.

Since this game is in active development I can’t show much. But for now, here’s some shots from the aforementioned trailer that feature some of the areas of the map that I designed.

Obviously, this was a very collaborative effort between a lot of creatives! Props to the environment team for working with myself and the other concept artists on getting this map looking as good as it is.

I'm looking forward to sharing more in the future!

The balloon was designed by Trevor Claxton. I heavily advocated for the idea of having this in the game. Sadly it didn't show up in the CG trailer, but it is in-game!
